Francine Kay is a stylist with 15 years experience in advertising and editorial.
Francine studied fashion textile design at St Martins College of Art, and completed with a masters degree.
From there she went on to work with Anne Toomey and Harriet Anstruther both successful textile designers supplying Liberty, Harvey Nichols among stores worldwide. Here she gained valuable knowledge of how to create products that appeal to the public and work within trends.
Francine’s first role in styling was working in the Homes and Gardens editorial office along side the Editor. Going freelance as a stylist her career took off, having a close relationship with design teams. Francine worked to keep the photography contemporary and in keeping with the modern ideals, revamping some companies marketing aesthetic. Francine has enjoyed working with a big busy team as well small projects.
Francine is inspired by her family, seasons, moods, atmospheres and textures of the world and interiors she comes across on her travels and in her daily life. Her work has a relaxed but polished finish, which keeps it full of creativity and constantly moving forward.
Advertising clients include M&S, Wedgewood, Laura Ashley, Kelly Hoppen, Sanderson, among others.
